About this Event

The Australian Mathematics Competition is an internationally recognised mathematics competition.  It is also one of the world’s largest school based mathematics competitions.  It’s aim is to help students reach their mathematical potential.  More than 30 countries participate very year.

The AMC Senior Division (Years 11 and 12) paper consists of 30 questions.  Time allowed is 75 minutes for the paper.  In 2017 it will be available in two modes:  online and pen and paper.

Participants gain valuable training.  It is worth noting  that Australia’s leading mathematicians aged under 40 were discovered and developed at least partly as a result of participation in the AMC.
